Bu çalışmada Memet Baydur’un (1951-2001), Tensing (1993) oyununda doğa ve insan ilişkisi çevreci edebiyat eleştirisi yaklaşımıyla incelenmiştir. Tensing; biyografik gerçeklik üzerine kurgulanmış, çevreci duyarlılığın bariz biçimde yansıtıldığı bir oyundur. Tensing, oyun kişilerinin temsil ettiği Doğu ve Batı uygarlıklarının doğaya bakış açılarını karşılaştırırken çevre kirliliği ve küresel ısınmanın yol açtığı sorunları da işler. Oyun, doğu/batı karşıtlığı üzerine kurgulanmıştır. Tensing oyunundaki doğa ve insan ilişkileri çevreci edebiyat eleştirisi bağlamında analiz edilmekle birlikte kurguya eklemlenen çevre ile ilgili temalar karşılaştırmalı ve çevreci eleştiri odağa alınarak analitik bir yöntemle tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
In this study, Memet Baydur’s (1951-2001) Tensing (1993) play is examined in the context of nature and human relation with an ecological literary approach. Tensing, which is framed on biographical reality, is a play that environmental sensitivity is obviously reflected. While Tensing compares the views of the East and West civilizations represented by the people of the play to nature, it also deals with environmental pollution and the problems caused by global warming. The play is based on the contrast of east / west. However the relationship of nature and human in the Tensing play are analyzed in the context of ecologic criticism, the environmental themes related to the fiction are tried to be determined by a comparative and analytical method.
